What we’re looking for
Nonfiction in the paranormal, UFO, cryptid, ancient mysteries, and true crime genres.
At least 35,000 words.
Complete manuscripts only. No agent required.
We do not publish fiction, individual short stories, poetry, cookbooks, or children’s books.
Prepare your submission
- Finish your manuscript. Send the complete work, not sample chapters. A professionally edited manuscript improves your chances.
- Add a cover letter at the beginning. Include an introduction, a summary of the book, your author biography, and accurate contact details.
- Save everything as one Word file. We accept .doc or .docx files.
- Email your manuscript. Attach the single file to your email using the address below.

Do I need an agent?
No. We welcome submissions directly from authors, as well as from agents.
Do authors pay to be published?
No. We do not ask authors to pay publishing fees. We invest in the manuscripts we choose to publish.
Do you offer an advance?
We do not currently offer advances.
What formats do you publish?
We publish ebooks and trade paperbacks, and explore downloadable audio editions. We do not publish hardcovers.
How are books distributed?
Our distribution includes online retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Apple Books, as applicable to the edition. Placement in physical bookstores is not guaranteed.
Do you accept short stories?
We do not accept individual short stories. A nonfiction collection may be considered; contact us to confirm its fit before submitting.
When are royalties paid?
Twice per year.
What happens after I submit?
Manuscripts that follow the guidelines are reviewed by our acquisitions team. We contact authors after review, including by email if a manuscript is not selected. Please make sure your contact details are correct.
